Ailu is a spacious and practical wallet from Wigel. In addition to a standard banknote compartment, the wallet features two open, vertical-style banknote slots. Ailu has a total of eleven card slots, a coin pocket, and two slots for driving licenses—one for the larger format and one for the smaller. The wallet measures 16.2 cm in height, with a width of 20.1 cm when open and 10 cm when closed. It is made of 100% vegetable-tanned reindeer leather with a nylon lining, and the plastic used in the driving license slots is frost-resistant. Available in black or brown. Each wallet is handcrafted, so slight variations between products may occur.

Reindeer leather naturally contains a binding agent that makes it one of the most durable leathers in the world. If desired, the wallet can be treated with beeswax to extend the product's lifespan and protect the leather from moisture. It is recommended to apply the wax once or twice before using the wallet. It is best to apply the wax using a piece of cloth, as paper tends to disintegrate easily and absorb the wax. After the initial treatments, the leather may not require further treatment.
