Reindeer leather is a work of art shaped by nature, and no two hides are alike. Scars left by the reindeer warble fly tell the story of life in Lapland. Thanks to its natural toughness, reindeer leather is one of the most durable leathers in the world.

Beeswax treatment extends the product's lifespan and protects it against moisture. All Wigel products can be treated with a beeswax-based conditioner. One or two treatments are recommended before initial use. Rub the wax onto the leather surface using a piece of cloth. Do not use paper, as it absorbs the wax and disintegrates during application. Once the wax has been absorbed, buff the surface with a clean cloth. The leather may not require further treatment during its lifetime.
