The Ahku card holder is crafted from 100% reindeer leather. The card slots are made of durable vegetable-tanned reindeer leather, which feels soft in use and develops a beautiful patina over time. Reindeer leather is an exceptionally lightweight, durable, and long-lasting natural material, ensuring the card holder remains in use for years.

Each reindeer hide is a unique work of art shaped by nature, and no two products are exactly alike. The characteristic marks—small scars left by the reindeer warble fly—tell the story of the reindeer’s life in Lapland and make every product one-of-a-kind.

We recommend treating reindeer leather products with a beeswax-based conditioner once or twice before use. Apply the wax to the leather surface with a soft cloth, then buff the surface with a clean cloth. Often, a single treatment is sufficient for the entire lifespan of the product.
