Inge Löök

We have printed matters designed by Inge Löök in our selection and they will always put a smile on your lips.

Inge Löök is a Finnish Swedish graphic designer, gardener and illustrator born in Helsinki, Finland. She says: "These days drawing needs gardening as a counterbalance. Everything is about balance. I'm fortunate to get to do things that I really enjoy."

First granny themed cards were published in 2003. Inge couldn't understand why these two grannies with no teeth got so popular and valued. "In my images I don't want to focus on the outer shell but to their inner world of thought." Imagination and curiosity are the salts of life. The courage to do and come up with anything can take you on the most fun adventures possible. We want to relate to the brave and exuberant approach to life and remind ourselves that happiness is free and can be found in the little things and moments. And very often you'll here some laugh from the card holders, "This is just like us then, remember?"

We are extending our selection in the summer to cards which all can be found at OMA puoti store.
